- "The most profitable investment for private investors was investment in the mutual funds of LLC "AMC OZON" (previously "Dragon Asset Management") ... According to a study by the rating agency "Expert Rating", the nine-month yield of 23 funds ranged from 13% to 111.6% (17.3%–148.8% annualized). Equity and real estate funds were the most profitable. Analysts from the agency noted that in the long term there is also a high risk of losses.
To assess investment efficiency, we selected five diversified open-end investment funds. For a more objective assessment, the study used the Sharpe ratio, which describes the historical performance of the funds. The following funds participated in the study: Fund "PLATINUM" managed by LLC "AMC OZON CAPITAL" (previously "Dragon Asset Management"), Fund "Klasichny" managed by AMC "Quinto", "Parex Fund of Ukrainian Bonds" managed by AMC "Parex Asset Management", "Premium Balanced Fund" managed by AMC "Socrates", and PIDIF "DIGITAL" managed by AMC "Ineko-Invest".
According to the data presented in Tables 1 and 2, the efficiency level of all funds, excluding taxation and inflation, was above the market average, and all funds demonstrated a good level of efficiency. At the same time, it should be noted that the "Parex Fund of Ukrainian Bonds" invested approximately 34% of its portfolio in metallurgy enterprises and 21.8% in the energy sector. Therefore, more than 50% of the portfolio depended on enterprises influenced by conditions in foreign markets. Nevertheless, the sector structure of the fund produced convincing results. The highest results were demonstrated by the "Klasichny" Fund and the "PLATINUM" Fund."
